Why hire an EPOS system?

If your event or exhibition demands a more hardwearing option for taking payments than an iZettle or other card reader, then you may wish to hire an . These are great if you require more information and analysis from your sales than other payment systems offer. Both EPOS systems available – Hospitality and Retail – will allow multiple users, an unlimited number of programmable products and customised receipts for your customers. Both products also come fully programmed for the price displayed on our website, so you don’t need to be an expert in computer programming to use an EPOS system at your event, it will be delivered to you ready to use! We’ve also thought ahead, and made sure that you can change the price and descriptions of the programmed products easily during the exhibition or event.

What EPOS systems are available?

There are two main types of EPOS system, hospitality and retail. A hospitality EPOS system comes with an optional table planner and can be linked to bar and kitchen printers for a seamless ordering and delivery process for your customers. This solution would be great if you had a pop-up restaurant or bar at your event, but can also be used to take retail sales. A retail EPOS system comes with stock control features and a barcode scanner, for the most professional transaction for customers making straight sales at your event or exhibition stand. Both options will allow you to transform your exhibition stand or event into a seamless experience for your customers, and will allow you the insight into your sales and performance of a permanent system.

How do I use an EPOS system?

In terms of practicalities, you can have these payment systems fully programmed for you, but this is not instant. Make sure you leave plenty of time to fill in the programming forms, return these to us and have your item programmed prior to your event – this process can take up to 10 days. We know things change, though, so we’ll also provide all the documentation you require to reprogramme the system if your products or prices change close to or even during the event. Both EPOS systems will be supplied with a receipt printer, one till roll installed into system already, and three additional rolls to cover all your event needs.
