London Olympia in West Kensington, London was opened in 1886 and originally covered 16,000m2 – the largest exhibition building of its time. It has since grown and now features four exhibition venues and one conference centre, covering over 43,000m2 and sees over 1.5 million visitors each year.
Rich with history, the London Olympia survived both World Wars with minimal damage, though multiple bomb strikes did result in the rebuilding of the train station beside it.
London Olympia is host to a variety of exhibitions for every market from horse shows to interior design. Some of their most popular annual events include Top Drawer, the Adventure Travel Show, 100% Design, the National Wedding Show and Olympia Beauty. Throughout its history, London Olympia has been known to host the Ideal Home Show with the first showing in 1908. Even with a six-year suspension during the Second World War, Ideal Home Show has been exhibiting at London Olympia for over a hundred years.
